Six-Pack Tests
Acute Systemic Toxicity
Acute toxicity studies evaluate the adverse effects that may be caused by a test substance after oral, dermal, intraperitoneal, or inhaled administration of a single dose or multiple doses over periods of less than 24 hours.
Acute toxicity studies provide information about the hazardous properties of a test item and allow its classification according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals.
Six-Pack Toxicology Studies
The battery of tests evaluating acute systemic toxicity (respiratory, oral, dermal, ocular) is often referred to as a “Six-Pack”.
Sia Analysis Laboratories are designed to meet regulatory requirements for acute toxicity testing. vitro with toxicology studies in vivo offers “six-pack” toxicology tests consisting of acute toxicology testing.
These tests provide information about the health hazards that may arise from short-term exposure to a test substance through different administration routes. In this context, as SİA Analysis Laboratories, we perform the following tests according to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) principles;
- Acute Oral Toxicity Test
- Acute Dermal Toxicity Test
- Acute Inhalation Toxicity Test
- Acute Dermal Irritation/Corrosion Test
- Acute Eye Irritation/Corrosion Test
- Sensitization Test
